Hello and welcome to Applegarth Care Home, our warm and friendly home in Taplow, Berkshire in between Maidenhead and Slough. My name is Jayne Humphries and I am the Home Manager. I have worked for the home for 9 years starting as a Senior Carer and later promoted to Deputy Manager. I am thrilled and proud to now be the Home Manager.
I am supported by a wonderful team with Kuldeep Singh as Deputy Manager. Kuldeep Singh has recently been promoted to Deputy Manager having joined the company in March 2023, after obtaining a degree at Edinburgh Napier University in Business Management.
We are a 20 bed family-owned home, close to local amenities. Our commitment to our residents is to deliver high-quality, individual care in a nurturing and engaging environment to enable our residents to live happy and truly meaningful lives.
We understand that choosing a care home for either yourself or a loved one can be a daunting experience which is why our doors are always open inviting you to visit the home and meet the team.
